Aaron Lubarsky (Producer, Director, Editor) is the founder of Flicker Flacker Films, a documentary film and television production company based in New York.  He co-directed and edited the Emmy-award winning documentary Journeys with George about the 2000 presidential campaign. The film aired on HBO and was nominated for 6 Emmys.  Lubarsky was nominated as director and editor and won the Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Editing.  

He directed and edited Seoul Train, about the underground railroad in North Korea and China. The film screened at over 50 festivals worldwide, aired nationally on PBS and received the Columbia duPont award for documentary journalism.  His comedic documentary A Fan For All Seasons follows a year in the life of Minnesota Viking fans.  It was co-production with Jon Stewart’s Busboy Productions. 

He graduated from Stanford University's Documentary Film Program where his thesis film won a Student Academy Award.  After graduating he worked on the documentary team at Lucasfilm for Star Wars: Episode 1.  Editing credits include the IFC theatrical film Matthew Barney: No Restraint and the Emmy-award winning HBO documentary Assault In The Ring. 

Most recently he produced and directed a feature documentary about immigration and citizenship, working with Jon Stewart's Busboy Productions, A&E Indie Films and the History Channel.

The Naturalized was broadcast on History and will become a permanent exhibit on Ellis Island.
